ELOFIT repair fitting item code BFRS 12" has been installed in Queens in NYC by ConEdison. This is the first installation of this butt fusion fitting for the repair of incorrect welds. The 12" diameter pipe conveys gas under pressure. The installation was carried out without stopping the gas delivery service. The 12" diameter is the last one in the group of fittings developed with Nysearch together with 2", 4", 6" and 8" diameters.
