PIPING SYSTEM FOR UV APPLICATIONS

NIRON CoolPro is a multi-layer pipe produced with a white outer layer of UV-stabilized polypropylene and the addition of our POWERCORE™ Middle layer. This outer layer allows the pipe to be used for outdoor installations where UV protection is not adequate.

The mechanical and physical properties of CoolPro fully comply with EN ISO 15874 Standard. It can be produced in different SDRs (from SDR 7.4 to SDR 33). The selection of the proper SDR and design is related to the required operating conditions. The pipe has been designed with the highest safety standards. The UV barrier layer is in addition to the SDR stress-bearing layer of the pipe.

The Powercore™ middle layer in Niron pipe contains added fiberglass which restrains thermal expansion and contraction of the β-PP-RCT material by up to 75%. It also increases the modulus of elasticity of the material which helps to stiffen the pipe, adding strength to the pipe wall.
