FITTINGS

Electrofusion Fittings

Elofit electrofusion couplings and fittings are made from premium PPI TR4 listed PE 4710 (PE 100) material, featuring embedded resistance wires. They are produced in compliance with ASTM F1055 standards for electrofusion joining, following ASTM F1290, MAB methods, and PPI guidelines. The fittings and couplings are fused using a constant voltage and are barcoded to meet the automatic recognition standards outlined in ISO 13950.

Socket Fusion Fittings

Elofit socket fusion fittings are crafted from high-quality PPI TR4 listed PE 4710 (PE 100) material through injection molding, resulting in a durable, one-piece design. couplings, fittings, and threaded adapters are produced to meet ASTM D2513 dimensions, specifically for joining HDPE IPS pipe using the socket fusion method outlined in ASTM D2657. Available in a variety of standard fitting types ranging from ½ inch to 2 inches, these components also comply with Buy American requirements.

Butt Fusion Fittings

Elofit butt fusion fittings and adapters are injection molded from a high-quality PPI TR4 listed PE 4710 (PE 100) material as a solid, one-piece construction. The fittings are all manufactured in accordance with the requirements of ASTM D3261 for IPS and DIPS PE pressure pipe. The fittings and adapters are available in a wide variety of shapes for use in joining by either butt fusion according to ASTM D2657 or electrofusion in accordance with ASTM F1290 using matching Elofit electrofusion couplings.

Valves

Elofit valves are manufactured from a high-quality PPI TR4 listed PE 4710 (PE 100) material and are designed for underground use, They are available as a full bore valve through 6” IPS diameters and as a reduced bore in 8” size. The valve is designed to be able to be operated from above using a steel extension with an interlocking key.
