Steve Sandstrum at PPXXII Conference in Warsaw, Poland

BCD member Steve Sandstrum of Sandstrum Consulting gave a case study presentation at the PPXXII Conference in Warsaw, Poland on Sept. 15th called "Miami University Turns to Polypropylene (PP) Pipe for Campus-wide Hydronic Heating Upgrade". 

This presentation described how hashtag#PP-RCT piping from PPI member Nupi Americas Inc. was selected instead of carbon steel piping to distribute heated and chilled water throughout this campus in Oxford, OH. Advantages of PP-RCT piping included corrosion-resistance, high durability, reduced carbon footprint, and ease and speed of installation.

This joint paper was authored by Steve Sandstrum of Sandstrum Consulting Services, Dave Holt of Peck Hanniford Briggs and our own Christopher Ziu.  Steve Sandstrum presented the paper, which was supported in attendance by Christopher Ziu and others from Nupi Americas.
