NERO by NIRON pipes successfully passed a special protocol and test method based on Standard EN 16472. The specimen was exposed to a High Energy device with an UV irradiance of 300 W.m2 @ 80°C and periodic water spray. The black layer did not result to be oxidized at all, showing that the PP internal layer is fully protected by the UV protection layer for an estimated lifetime of over 30 years.
